The building was gutted top to bottom which gave us the ability to sweep the building and seal all existing empty holes in the slabs to complete the fire rating.

Transcity Legacy Way Tunnel

Transcity Legacy Way Tunnel

This process involved a full prototype being designed, tested and approved. Day and night shifts including manual handling of 90kg weighted panels were required to achieve the scope of works. These works included more than 100,000 screws being placed into 2mm stainless steel purlins and over 50,000 SS spike anchors in a 65mpa concrete. The 8m high ceilings resulted in the works being carried out via boom and scissor lift access only. Operating under the strictest safety plans together with continual construction traffic meant limited access throughout the project. The A1 Passive Team is incredibly proud of the process and end result.

Emu Park RSL Care

Emu Park RSL Care

Passive fire solution installation and certification for the RSL Aged care facility located at Emu Park Rockhampton Qld. This project was to audit, inspect and complete rectification of the Fire walls and passive penetrations at the aged care facility to meet regulation and code compliance requirements for RSL Aged Care.

As the project was at an aged care facility, a lot of coordination around the residents was required so as Not to disrupt the daily activities and proceedings. This also involved ensuring all electrical power outlets where made compliant, a big task in itself due to locations within the tenants quarters. The final outcome of the project was well received by the client.
